I wanted to give a recap of the past week.
November 6th:

This was a weight day only I redid THIS workout.
After lifting I got in the pool with Kyle. Since he is recovering from 2 herniated discs, he is limited to swimming and stretching. He is major-ly bummed about this, but hopefully I can motivate him by swimming with him. I only swam for about 8 minutes and burned 50 calories!!
November 7th:
47.02 minutes

Again this day I did my weights workout.
Monday November 8th:
This was actually suppose to be one of my 'off' days. I had a 'free training assessment' at the gym and was just going to swim a bit after the assessment. But the assessment was actually a pretty intense 30 minutes - so I decided not to over do it with a swim. It was fun experiencing a trainer, but since they are so damn expensive that won't be happening.

Tuesday November 9th:
Again this was suppose to be my day off... but I wanted to go swim and try out my new goggles. Kyle and I did a workout we found online, it's a program to help you build up to being able to swim a mile.
We did a 100 warm up (down and back twice - the guy who gave us a tour said the pool was 25 yards, but we think it is meters. Not quite sure)
Then 3 more 100s with 12 breaths in between each 100
3 - 50s with 8 breaths in between
3 - 25s with 4 breaths in between.
Wow what a workout. Our lungs were PUMPING!

Since I had worked out on my two off days, Wednesday I was actually feeling kinda sore. So I decided to take my two off days on Wednesday and Thursday. Last night, Friday we were back at the gym and I had a new work out. (i'm gonna blog about the separately)
