Back to it

Well Sally got back from Alaska last week... and well we slacked off for the past week. I only ran a few times while she was away - but did get back into strength training so all is not lost. But we got up this morning (6am comes early when you're not used to it) and ran Calhoun. It's amazing how much harder it is when you aren't as used to it.

My HRM Readout today was:
35.53 minutes
Calories: 413
Max HR: 198
Avg HR: 179

Just for fun I wanted to average about the last 7 or so HRM readouts to compare my average to today.
avg 34.21 minutes
avg 400 calories
avg maxHR: 190
avg AVG HR: 165

So just looking at the max and avg compared today, I can see how my body was having to work harder since I had taken a few weeks off. It sure did feel good to get back out and run. It's amazing how a good workout can get you feeling good, help your body sleep better and wake up better in the morning, and give me more energy throughout the day :-)
