As I mentioned in my last post, my working out hasn't been too consistent. BUT I have been trying to focus on counting what goes INTO my body. Once I read that eating is 80% of staying healthy while working out is the other 20%.... soooo with that said, I haven't really been losing weight, but at least staying the same. Which I have gained about 8-10 pounds since the wedding and I would like to be back down to my goal weight.
I wanted to share something that I read today in my Hungry-Girl email. If you've never heard of Hungry-Girl, I suggest checking it out. She has lots of alternative ways to health-en (is that a word?) food up, "make this instead of eating that". Fun recipes, new product reviews... lots of great stuff about staying healthy.
Today they mentioned about counting calories. And what I didn't know is that food labels can be off as much as 20%!!! Holy WOWZA... and I was putting so much work into counting EVERY calorie. This somewhat breaks my heart :-( One suggestion she gives is to round UP! I am rather excited to get this piece of advice because for one it'll make my counting MUCH MUCH easier and two, I'll be making up for any errors in the labels :-)
