Number 7

It's been a while since I've written, but that's not because I haven't been working out! I've been doing pretty good actually. In Jillian Michael's 30 day shred, there are 3 different workout levels. Today I bumped it up to level 2. So far I've done 7 out of my 16 goal for the month (well August 25-Sept 25th).

So today I was a little creative! I needed to get my picture of the day for my Y27 Project, so I set up the tripod and used my remote shutter release to try and catch me in the action of working out. Yeah, yeah I know I'm a geek, it's okay, I admit it :-P

You'll also get to see our riddly dink of a 'home gym' in our basement.

So if you haven't done Jillian Michael's 30 day shred, it's rather a pretty good 20-25 minute workout. She had 3 circuits that are each composed of 3 minutes of strength:

I had to share this one just because I, myself, was rather shocked at the arm muscles I got going on... if only it looked like that all the time. Maybe I should just carry around a weight so my arms will looked toned all the time, lol.

followed by 2 minutes of cardio, then 1 minute of abs:

And that set of circuit is repeated 3 times with different moves for each area (strength, cardio, abs). It's a pretty well rounded workout.

I was hoping you could see all my sweat in this one, but not so much, believe me - I was very, very sweaty!
