I honestly can't remember the last time I ran... I guess I could look at my blog entries and it'd tell me :-) was it 2 weeks ago? 3? Anyway, Kyle has a new goal of wanting to run 6 miles every week. I still have my 1,000 calories burned/week goal (which I've failed miserably the past two weeks) so we decided to get a 2 mile run in tonight.
Now like I mentioned, it's been a while since I've ran, and I think that is why I was so tired on Saturday from our pewney bike ride. But I made it! One run we do is on the trail to hwy 100 and back, but that is only 1.7 miles and Kyle didn't want to be adding up 1.7 miles each run then have to run an extra day.... so we decided to run to cedar lake and walk back, which is a 2 mile run there.
Boy were our legs tired after walking the whole way back. It was a lot longer than it seemed, and into the sun :-/
So I'm already over halfway to my 1,000 calorie goal :-) I ended with 674 calories burned tonight. But I will probably stick with my hubby and do another two runs this week.
